Georgia,
Interesting question - There is nothing called know-It-all A’s no one knows everything and even if they do, different people have different point of view as sometimes there is no black and white especially when sharing individual experiences like you said which is an enormous added value.
Just out of curiosity, what made you raise thsi question ? Saving Changes...

Good points, Rami, and good assessment. We don't necessarily have to agree to gain value from others. There are so many different types of individuals, backgrounds, cultures, and languages here, leading to many communicating in a second or third language.
If we start to overthink or doubt other's intentions, we begin to break down the essence of the community. Saving Changes...

This a very interesting discussion. The vastness of this profession makes knowing it all un-achievable to be sure. But like everyone is saying the value of diversity in experiences is HUGE! The same is true in projecting the near term in emerging technologies and a continuous challenge keeping up and updating your view of the future. Saving Changes...

Rami - several things took place throughout 2018 that has made me reconsider the level of my interacting on this site (I have cut way back) and it is all about the lack of respect for others views and opinions. None hit me personally but - Why risk the criticism?

Criticism is going to come -- online or elsewhere. It's inevitable; the only way to avoid it is isolation -- which is the WORST thing you can ever do.
Influence comes from interaction. The world is full of "know-it-alls". It's just as important, maybe more so, to know how to interact with know-it-all personalities than agreeable ones.

Georgia - I hear you but you should not let those things make you cut back on your level of interaction on this platform. When I first joined, I faced and still face to date the same issue as yours from random members of the community. Criticism is part of life, some people criticize you because they are insecure, or because they believe they are always right or even might be jealous from you so don’t let those things demotivate you from participating.
This community needs people like you who contribute, share their opinion and knowledge. This community is for everyone and everyone is entitled to their own opinion even though it might not be in line with others point of you. Constructive disagreements are fruitful and they often lead to better discussions and results. I understand that critisizim that has no solid basis can be annoying but this is inevitable, not only here, but everywhere else in life and as long as you remain professional and confident and do not go down that path of criticizing back in the same manner, then you will rise and shine.
I hope we can see more contributions from your end Georgia. We have no doubt that you can add value to this community.

Agree with most of the points and the best thing is all are correct in their own way. My 2 cents, that Learnig is a process and one should not stop it. Let me share a bollywood (Indian Film Industry) example that if you ask any actor or actress that have they done their dream role, he/ she will never say YES. The reason is obvious :) Saving Changes...

Some people act like know-it-alls because they are insecure, and try to bring others down to make themselves feel better. Once such individuals make themselves known it's a simple matter to ignore them. Saving Changes...
