I believe in reading the guide many times a year or at least to check for reference I usually consult the guide on average twice a month Saving Changes...
I consult it at least once per week and read it cover-to-cover when it was first released last September as I had to prepare & deliver a webinar on the changes. I also thoroughly read the draft release as one of the (multiple) reviewers back in late 2016 (or was it early 2017?).

One time only during my certifications beyond PMP. If you know your stuff, you do not need to read it more times than this.

Rami, I think we are human being tend to forget so frequent reading will keep the knowledge up, so I believe in repetitive procedure to ensure the consistency of achieving the best result.
Never cover to cover. Still refer more to the previous version, with my highlights and notes. Those I can’t transfert to the new version that is lock.
So refer more to previous version.
