With all the options out there, any recommendations for a Lean Six Sigma certification?

It would appear that ASQ and IASSC are the industry leaders for Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma black belt certifications. Unlike PMI, there is no single certifying authority so I am wondering if it is necessary to get multiple black belts or if one from MSI is sufficient.

One is sufficient. There will always be new flavors coming out. Combine it with lean, lean plus, agile, whatever... The statistical analysis is the most rigorous part of it and the math doesn't change. It's easy to learn about the different variants once you understand the fundamentals and I wouldn't consider a certification in multiple unless I wanted it for teaching credentials. Getting multiple certs in the same one from different authorities would be like getting the same degree from different universities. It doesn't really add anything.

I am also researching ASQ. Doing a little self-study before I decide.

A critical part of an LSS GB/BB certification is the application of a subset of the large set of tools to improve a given process and the report out of how that was done to an appropriately qualified board.
