Hello all, I am relatively new to PM and this site, the articles are great!
How about starting a topic that lists good vendors that you've had experience with and would recommend to others? In my experience, this is a big "process improvement" that alleviates a LOT of headaches.
Simply list the IT items YOU have gotten quickly from a vendor (as we all know that some vendors are great with some items but not others, followed by the company name.
If this goes against forum rules, or will open up the possibilities of spamming, then mods, feel free to let me know/delete, but I think this would be a great resource if used appropriately. Saving Changes...

Brian,
I'd be happy to share my experiences, but you might want to narrow down the scope a bit. There are enough IT vendors that you can make a living out of writing about them - Oh, yeah, that's what Gartner does......
Anyway, if you narrow it down a bit into a particular category, you might get a more pointed response.
Since I just had a meeting with a channel's rep in the BI space, I'll gladly put in a plug for Information Builders. They have some good tools and fit well into the mid-market space. They are responsive, cooperative and flexible - all the things I like to see in a software vendor.
