PM Career Ladder, Core Competencies and Position Descriptions?

My old company had a very nice and tidy list of core competencies for each part of the PM career ladder/position as well as generic position descriptions of each position on the ladder. My current organization is setting up a PM career ladder and has none of this info which which to work. Does anyone have these from their organization to share with me? [email protected] Thank you!

You might find SFIA (Skills Framework for the Information Age) helpful?. It details 102 skills and competencies levels required by professionals in IT related roles.

You will need to register to be able to download the framework, but it can be done under a free licence to get an idea. It looks at the level of competency as well as the skill.

Over a decade back, PMI used to have a separate document with common job descriptions for PM job family roles - they stopped publishing that for some reason...
