I have a client who is interested in Siebel Marketing Enterprise functioning as a data mart. I am looking for feedback regarding its functionality as well as shortcomings. Thanks!

I would not recommend attempting to rely on Siebel as a data mart. The complex and proprietary data structure that underlies Siebel does not lend itself well to a data mart application. We load our data mart nighty with Siebel data, rather than trying to mine the Siebel data base directly.
