- The changing material obtained from a quarry.
- An earthquake.
- A tsunami.
- A landslide
- Etc.

- Political risk (e.g. an unexpected coup d'etat which impacts funding and timelines)
- Health risk (e.g. a sudden epidemic of some rapid, lethal disease)
