As a PM if one interests in travel more frequently nationally and internationally for business purpose,

which industries will you suggest for PM to look for opportunities? and
what kind of preparation he should do for such jobs?

There are many industries which provide travel opportunities (e.g. IT, construction, pharmaceutical) but without industry-specific experience it may be difficult to land such roles. If you have a specific high demand/low supply-type experience, there will likely be a lot more options available to you.

In addition to Kiron's input, the nature of the project plays also an important role. For internal projects, travel possibilities are quite limited. So make sure that you are assigned to projects with an external customer or with global stakeholders to raise the chances of travelling.

it has to do with the nature of the project rather than industry, I believe. IT and construction, as well as cultural projects generally have more travel opportunities. However, the project is more important than the industry
