Yes the questions are based on PMBOK 5th edition and I am hoping that these are in process of being updated along with some other features on the site. Hope to see these changes soon.

I've seen some questions based on 6th edition, and observed questions started updating since 6th edition was issued. It seems that the questions left on 5th edition did not change in concept, just that reference sections/pages were wrong. I would continue to use PMChallenge for practicing though...quite frankly I have not completed reading through 6th edition, just browsed summaries on that edition but since 6th edition includes more on Agile, I observed many questions in PMChallenge on that subject.

Questions of the PM Challenge are based on the 5th edition and not all of them are updated. It needs lots of update. I do not advise using them as simulation exam questions because they are far from the true e am questions.

Under each question in the challenge exam, they write to you which edition is this question from. Hope this helps.

Most of the stuff will remain same but there are some basic questions related to the processes, that can throw you off, for example how many total processes are there as per PMBOK guide and the last time I attempted the question it still says 47 instead of 49
