I am in need of recommendations on how to track an overall progress of a lot of projects. We have around 25 projects right now. All of them have some form of dependency to another project. I have Asana and Microsoft Project at my disposal. Currently, all of the projects are listed and being tracked in Asana. I need to keep an eye on overall progress of these projects (as Programme Manager). Each project has assigned project manager. They update their statuses in Asana.
I currently have a portfolio setup in Asana with interdependent tasks point to tasks in other projects to timeline purposes. However, I am not very keep on this way of tracking. Unless I check each project individually, I cannot get status. And there is no consolidated status for the programme.
So my question is, what do you guys use and for reporting to execs. Do you have any dashboards or use different tools?
