While some entrepreneurs adopt a natural attitude in private life as well in business, the large majority of them show a tremendous kindness when managing project. What Ethics say about this. Is it a right strategy?

Great. in my opinion Machiavel work has been misunderstood because lot of people have taken it and made money creating books with adaptations (their adaptations) to several domains. In my personal opinon "The Prince" is a must read as well as Tzun Su "Art of Word" and von Clausewitz "In the war".

As long as you retain professionalism, kindness is a great tool for treating others the way you would like to be treated. I respond well to kindness. Kindness can be recognized in the lives of many important leaders, but we all know one can be a leader without being kind.

Hi Lory, God forbid. The greatest of all misfortune is to be a leader without taking that tremendous opportunity to serve the community we lead. For in this case, the only way out is to behave as we said in the title: affection, warmth, gentleness, tenderness, care and concern.

Just attended one of our internal PM seminars. A key message from one of our senior members was about managing relationships. This is not only critical in our professional lives, but our personal ones as well. To be successful, one must learn and understand how to influence people, and cultivate beneficial relationships. Certainly the attributes mentioned, would go a long way towards that end.
