Emotion and Attitude Addiction

I have known and heard lots about drugs,gambling and alcohol addiction, but does someone know about EMOTION and ATTITUDE addiction ?

A person can become addicted to particular emotions and attitudes. For example, anger releases the same adrenaline and other chemicals associated with drug and alcohol addictions. An addiction to anger probably explains why some people are so unreasonable.

Just reading about gamification and behavioral design which partly is about creating addiction. And yes, it is about emotions and hormones that drive most of our decisions and our attitudes (why would anybody buy a Porsche, a Rolex or an IPhone if its not about emotions?).

Some concepts are extendable beyond games, e.g. to project management and how to influence stakeholders, hopefully ethically.

I believe that gambling and some of those common type addictions are emotional, too. your body addiction to drugs may be treated in 2 or 3 weeks but your emotions force you to start again.
