The PMChallenge is a fun way to brush up on fundamental concepts, but I would not in any way use it to replace other methods of studying for the PMP exam. The PMP exam is mostly situational in nature, the PMChallenge is based on memorization. I don't know if it's aligned to PMBOK 6, I feel like I've found questions that were PMBOK 5.
Full disclosure: I took the PMP exam on Feb 15th and didn't pass. I discovered this website afterwards, and started answering PMChallenge questions. I've found it is fun and helpful in pointing out areas I still need to focus on when I only have a few minutes available, and can't sit down for a PMP study session. But I don't find it helpful for studying. Saving Changes...

Alysa hit the nail on the head! The PMP challenge is just a quick way to refresh your memory on the content. It may get you just a few questions right (maybe), but the exam tests your knowledge on situational questions in the project, so the quick answer is none of the PMP challenge asks questions of that nature. Also, I've seen some info on this site that still refers to the 5th edition, so watch out.
To Alysa also... I passed my exam on the third try. Don't give up!
Good luck to both of you. Saving Changes...

In my view PMChallenge does not help much for PMP Exam. Saving Changes...
The exam is completely different to these questions. The real questions are much larger, and you have four different answers (larger as well). Consequently, the PMChallenge is a good support, but it is not enough to prepare your exam. Saving Changes...

Dear Ritchard, PMChallenge is really brushing up your knowledge. Once I was fond of answering questions of PMChallenge. PMChallenge boosted my confidence level for Exam. It helped me in cultivating my thought process. It made me not to forget the basics of PM in any situational questions. In fact it is one of the quick Exam reference tool with your answer checked immediately. At the same time, I recommend not to take it as a sole preparation for such a big Exam like PMP. But to some extent, it prepares you thinking in PM way for sure. It is a measurement tool, rather than a preparation tool for the Exam to check if you have forgotten the basic tricky things in the scenario of big complex situational questions. Saving Changes...

PMChallenge & PMwars are good way to memorize and refresh the basic concepts and the definitions of PM terms but for PMP preparation definitely it requires other resources and material. Saving Changes...

I don't to suggest to use PM challenge for PMP exam. I suggest the paid questions on website like PMSTUDY and PMPRECAST are the best websites for PMP. You should solve thousands questions and score not less than 85%!!! Saving Changes...
Agree with most of above points, it is good to brush up your knowledge and confidence in yourself. I passed PMP on 2008 and now I am enjoying PMChallenge Saving Changes...
Like others, I had "played" with PMChallenge when I first joined the community, more as a means of earning a few badges than as a learning tool. I found a few mistakes in the questions, so I would definitely NOT recommend it as a reference for PMP or CAPM exam preparation.
