Economic growth and construction during it affects time and budget. What percentage of your construction projects are within budget during economic growth (post-recession time)?

Hi Liliya,
You have raised very interesting and relevant query.
Definitely time and budget of construction projects are affected during faster economic growth time. During this period there is heavy demand of resources and due to in balance in demand and supply there is higher probability of rise in price of man, materials and machine, which result in cost overrun and delay.
To overcome this there should be provision in contract or project like price escalation clause to compensate the same.
