Didir -

That's an "apples to oranges" comparison - it comes down to what roles you are pursuing. If you will be going into an IT operations type role, the former is more applicable versus if you are planning to be Scrum Master then the latter would be a better fit.

I think an ITIL certification is a much bigger investment in time than a Scrum Master certification.
You don't really need ITIL if you are a Scrum Master.
The two certifications are very different.

I tried looking up your profile and suggesting what would work for you the best, but could not find much.
Like Kiron mentioned above, its apples-to-orange comparison. What do you currently do? What do you want to do? The response would depend on that.
Like Joey above suggested ITIL certification requires higher time investment than Scrum Master.
If you want to be in the IT/ITOps side, then ITIL would work better.
If you want to be on prod dev, engineering, BA, etc. I would suggest scrum.
I have an ITIL Foundation Certification and am also Scrum Product Owner Certified, but those were due to personal interests rather than career oriented.

Hi Andrew, in my current job situation I can choose both paths, management or operations, so I will going for the Scrum this semester and ITIL Expert for the 2019´s second one

I recommend getting a Scrum Master certification if you're trying to make as much money as possible or make yourself as marketable as possible.

Didir, since you're currently working as an Ops manager, you might have more immediate success with ITIL.

The Scrum Master certification isn't difficult to get, but I fear it could be a waste of your effort if you can't use it. Scrum masters are not managers. If you want to change career paths, then perhaps it's a good move. Just make sure it's what you want to do before you invest time and money into a certification.
