Is Book Club discontinued? There is no update after October 2018. Does someone have any information on this?

Thank you for your partnership.

Thank you for your inquiry regarding Book Club! We’ve taken the time to assess the overall value of the program and have discovered that the level of engagement that we had hoped for from community members was not being realized. For this reason we have decided to discontinue this initiative in 2019. We are currently road mapping additional programming to continue to engage the community and will certainly keep the community informed upon initiation. Many thanks!

This section is for sure going to be missed.

I would like to thank all authors who have taken time in enriching with their knowledge, and thought provoking insights.

Thanks for the update, Kimberly!

Same here Sante. I'm just finishing a book. The working title is "The Irreverent Project Manager".

There still may be a way to promote your book here, just not under the former book club process.

Kimberly,

Could there be a better formula for the book club?
I participated for time to time to the webinar of the book club. It could be a webinar followed by a discussion (like here and pinned) follow by a closing webinar it would make it more interactive.

Hello Cynthia and Vincent, and many thanks for your comments. Unfortunately the Book Club has been discontinued to make room for other engaging communications, webinars, and panel discussions within ProjectManagement.com. Thank you for being such wonderful advocates of the Book Club, we encourage you to participate in new endeavors!

Orbiting this at a distance of roughly 98 million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue-green planet whose ape-descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea..."
