what PM software used for early stage R&D Biotech Start up

Hi,

I am looking to implement a PM software for our early stage R&D Biotech company.
We have lot of collaboration work and external team members.

Asana was recommended to me, but I am not sure if these more user friendly program such as Asana, Trello, Teamwork are used in BioTech industry, vs Microsoft project sharepoint which I used at the moment.

I would love to know what is the most commonly used program in the industry. Please, let me know and I would really appreciate your help. thank you
