PMI suggested reading articles here to earn PDUs. Unlike how watching a webinar is assigned 1 PDU nothing is assigned to articles. I read this article “Reducing Waste in Project Management” by Daniel Iannucci, which I found really interesting and would love to claim it as a PDU and other future articles I plan to read. I would suggest you capture the key points from the articles you read and date with start and finish times to verify the time it took you to read article, then keep this as an audit trail. You can reference this when stating the total numbers of hours being claimed for this activity. Saving Changes...
Like stated by James the CCR handbook is the reference.
For any self-directed reading/learning just maintain documentation of your activities.
Personally, I find reading the article very valuable, but I don't take the time to document for PDUs request. I have plenty of source of PDUs just with webinars. It is basically 20 webinars per year, live or on demand. No other requirement than watching and listening, PDUs report directly. I read a lot of articles here and on other sources, I just don't need the PDUs.
Book reading may be easier to document.
Technically you could get PDUs from participation in discussion here!

Thank you all!
That seems to me like a lot of work to document reading PDU. I will just continue to read for my own learning and stick to webinars and other sources like chapter events for PDUs. Saving Changes...

Watching webinars to get the PDU's is the best option!!! Saving Changes...
to be frank, i spend more time reading than what i am entitle to claim for the PDU. Reading and learning those are purely for my own knowledge. Claiming PDUs are just an additional bonus of the process. Keep it up!!! Learning more during the lockdown... Saving Changes...
