what are the reasons team members lose their motivation ?

There are as many causes of lack of motivation as there are people who are demotivated.

If it's a single member of the team, then you are going to have to figure that out with them
If the whole team is not motivated, then you'll need to:
Work on getting the team aligned and engaged with the vision of the project (the 'why')
Make sure they get feedback on their performance (maybe they're are not unmotivated, but just unclear where they need to go)
Then lead, inspire and empower them to get there.

Hi All,
Thanks for sharing your views.
In my case , i faced these two factors ,
1- Values Mismatch: When a task doesn’t connect with or contribute to something workers value, they won’t be motivated to do it.

2- Attribution Errors: I don’t know what went wrong with this.

Team motivation can be achieved by giving training about their job in case if the teams are assigned to a new job position. The other factors that can bring motivation of teams are:
Salary, good working environment, relationship with bosses and peers, recognition for their talent and good performance as well.

Rewards & Recognition
Team - if anyone in the team lacks qualities of a team player it might affect performing members attitude

Unclear Goals
Lack of recognition for the team members' contribution
No buy ins from stakeholders for the project deliverabls.
No clear understanding of the execution plan
