They want me to train people for certification. Last minute request. They reached out on LinkedIn.

I had a call booked for last night.
They missed it.
Reset for today - but they clearly didn't read or understand the eMail so mixed up timezones
What they sent as T&Cs was laughable.
Glad I found this thread but I was already suspicious
They want to host my eLearning.
I guess the model is that I 'hand-over' the files then see nothing from it. Possible they just say "Never sold anything"

They have yet to pay me for a PMI-ACP class I taught two months ago. They don’t answer my emails or calls.
Their training materials were horrible and I had to supplement with some of my materials I’ve used in the past.

I have since received payment from them but it took two and a half months, several postings to scam listing sites, and a threat to start a class-action lawsuit against them. I love teaching, but will be finding another avenue.

I recently had a request to provide the materials that comprise my video on demand eLearning PRINCE2agile certification course for hosting and promotion on their site under a profit share.

Proposal was they'd tell me how many students had enrolled but no way to check from my side - Given the above I guess the modus operandi has a new strand - I suspect I'd have just given away the IP and never seen a reward

They missed the meeting slot twice (I missed it once as well :-( The 'agreement' they sent me was 1st copied without amendment for a irrelevant context and carried no obligation on either side to do or not do anything - it wasn't in any way an applicable or useful step in creating a commercial relationship.

I asked about the poor reputation and was told "We've made mistakes, all fixed now" The guy was reasonably plausible but no details offered, I wasn't asked anything I'd expect for due diligence.

I've yet to follow through - Now I'm reminded I think I'll propose they create a landing page and marketing that redirects to my platform's sign-up page and I'll give them an affiliate code - If anything happens I'll let y'all know.

Thanks for your responses! The same thing happened to me - last minute request on Linked In! I called them because I would enjoy training folks but it went to voicemail????

VERY peculiar!

I was also contacted 2 weeks before teaching a PMI-ACP. The materials had errors in which they fixed immediately. They also sent me a day earlier than the client was expecting. and I am still waiting on payment 2 months later.

Please avoid this organization. They are bad at using telephones and email to communicate status.

I did a training class in June of 2019. I STILL have not been paid.
