There was one exam you can take at online proctoring, which is CAPM. Now, it is going to implement to PMI-ACP!!!!

Do you agree to take an exam on online proctoring at home??? What is reason from your opinion to take second certificate at online proctoring? In the future, do you think it will be implemented on other exams????

I work for a PMI REP and in the most recent update from PMI to us, they shared this info:

"Starting 1 April 2019, all remaining PMI certification (PMP®, PgMP®, PfMP®, PMI-PBA®, PMI-RMP® and PMI-SP®) exams will be available for scheduling through Pearson VUE. Testing with Pearson VUE will begin 1 July 2019. We will stop testing at Prometric for all PMI certifications on 30 June."

Kiron,
I have planned my exam next month so will it going to affect? As I have not received any notifications regarding change of venue.

I am planning to attend CAPM Proctored exam in coming months. I hope, it will be a much convenient experience.

If PMI is offering another exam from home or office, it seems that CAPM experience was a success.

That is what I read.
I took my PMI-ACP last year in a test center, but I have had some online certification exams.

What you need is a webcam, they still proctor you. They will ask you to show them your room and watch you take the test at home.

In fact, I have some basic instructions from my AgilePgM exam through ProctorU. Pearson handles it similarly, just be aware that some of the specific information will be different. When you schedule an exam it should provide a general guide to help you. https://agile-mercurial.com/2019/02/05/vir...e-through-apmg/

1. It provides more flexibility to candidates who might have had to travel long distances to go to a Prometric center

2. It "may" be cheaper for PMI - unclear on whether that is really the case or not as I don't have inside knowledge of the pricing differences between these two testing vendors
