Hi Handirove, a lot of people I know now in the PM area started in a technical ,and moved into the PM area almost by accident when they were asked to manage a small project and then became a PM in their own area managing larger and more complex projects without any training. Some read books and aligned themselves with other project managers to gain advice and experience.
My advice is to talk to whoever is in charge of the project area and discuss your wish to move into the PM proffession, they can discuss what they are looking for in PM's and suggest suitable initial projects that align with your technical expertise, select a mentor for you from the PM area and help you to see whether the PM proffession is right for you. This way you get to check whether you enjoy the role and get the voice of experience good and bad. This is essential before you spend time on the educational side. Saving Changes...
