I have drafted a project charter, and have been approved to move ahead with the project....this is the first time this has happened as many of my charters get dismissed. Now i have to build the plan. I understand what is needed for a true plan, but i am worried about where to start? Even formatting confuses me. Should i have one document with all the components? or should i have multiple documents? Most of my team members are only interested in the schedule.
This is embarrassing as i know what i need to do, i just need a kick in the right direction to get moving...building charters over the year and having them turned down hasn't allowed me to do a full cycle project. It is very tempting to just use the Charter as the only document.
