We are looking to get some Project management software. This would be used to work with the design team, owner, contractors and anyone else who needs info about a project. Version tracking and ball in court are two items we would like to have.
What software has everyone used and was it a management headache to work with?
We are looking at MySmartPlans, Prolog and one other that the name escapes me.
Thank you for the help and time. Saving Changes...

Asana / Monday.com / Smartsheet • Easier to adopt • Great for task tracking, responsibility fields, alerts • Smartsheet adds stronger reporting and version handling
I'm not aware of if they have strong audit/version history and built-in document control or not Saving Changes...
I've been using Asana for a while now, mostly because it's pretty straightforward for team collaboration. It's not super robust for complex construction stuff, but it works well enough for general project tracking. If you're looking for something simpler than Procore or Prolog, it might be worth checking out. You could also look at something like dotask.it if you need more task management features.
