The PMBOK only describes what needs to take place and not how to do it. The 3rd Edition of the PMBOK, on page 101 in the Close Project process, states in section 4.7.3.1 that one of the outputs of Administrative Closure process is "procedures to transfer the project products or services to production and/or operations are developed and established" Saving Changes...
