I am planning to sit PMP cert exam in January 2020. I wish to know whether there is any change in the exam prep materials soon. I am contemplating purchasing Rita Malcahy's PMP Exam Prep ver9. But I got info that there is forthcoming change in the Exam Prep material late this year. Can anyone help with advise how to best prepare for the exam for early next year (2020).
Many thx.

John -

if you are planning to take it early next year, the change in the Exam Content Outline (expected to be released in June) should help you understand what will be changing and I'd expect that most PMP prep providers (e.g. training companies, authors) will update their materials thereafter to reflect the new ECO.

The PMBOK Guide is not changing within the next year, but remember that it is just one of many references used by the volunteers who create the PMP exam questions so don't use it as the sole source for learning.
