When I worked at MAXIMUS Canada, I was lucky enough to have our mother company, US-based MAXIMUS Inc, sponsor my L-1A visa for a project I helped on in upstate New York.

For project management you won't be able to get a technical work visa. It will have to be a management work visa. They take a lot more time and money - think lawyers - to get it done.
