Common skills required for an effective Scrum Master and Agile Project Manager. There are some additional standard skills required for a project manager but Agile PM needs to have something extra.

First of all, the worst thing we can do as project management practioner is to use and push the use of Agile something because it does not exists in the real life. Second, Scrun and Agile are no related, it has nothing to be each other. Scrum is a framework while Agile is a way fo thiniking and behae. In fact Agile can be use with any other life cycle approach for example waterfall life cycle.

This is really interesting reply Sergio. I agree with you that Agile is way of thinking or philosophy and it's best practices can be used with other life cycle approaches. Thanks for your feedback.

You are welcome. Here comes a real life situation. In my actual work place, where I am in charge of implementing this types of things, the same person is assigned to more than one project at the same time where some of them are runing in non-agile approches and some of them are running in agile approaches.
