The terms have no meaning. You could call yourself a PM with experience delivering projects using an adaptive or agile lifecycle.
At the end of the day, a title or role name is just a label. You need to look at the expected accountabilities or responsibilities expected by the organization for the position.

Additionally, I came across an article explaining how a project leader can be a project manager, but a project manager cannot always be a project leader - an argumentative idea.
I personally think that the only comparison in terms of job titles, that has a clear difference is the one between a scrum master and a project manager - just a thought.
