Is test automation and CI/CD pipeline must for Agile projects?

1. These practices are only applicable to software projects and agile approaches can be applied beyond software projects.

2. While they are good practices which support increased agility, I wouldn't call them a "must". There is no such thing as a "must do" in agile - each team and product/project are unique so we need to explore which techniques will be most applicable and then inspect & adapt on a regular basis.

If we are talking about software projects the automation and CI/CD pipeline as well all the devops practices can help in increase agility.

In my opinion it is not a "must" for agile projects..
The philosophy around DevOps is CALMS ( culture, automation, Lean, measurement and sharing ) here automation plays a role, but it is only a lever to get the rest going

Very true Priya. I completely agree with you. These are just levers and enablers but again agile mindset is supreme to attain higher levels of agility.

Very true Priya. I completely agree with you. These are just levers and enablers but again agile mindset is supreme to attain higher levels of agility.
