Tend to agree with Jayson but technically the project sponsor is not a part of the team. In the same way I do think the users are not a part of the team and will not be mentioned.
I also assume you save yourself with this action so the proejct manager is also not the guy you are looking for ;-(
The answer in my opinion dependent on the phase you are acting and the area you hav the biggest challenges:
- definition phase/inception
most likely the Business Analyst however if there is unproven technology to be used and a PoC is required the Tech Architect
- design phase/Elaboration
Technical Archotect unless the customer is requiring bells and whictles but in the end it must be proven technically so I tend to stick with the technical architect. By the way I do think the focus here is on integration so if the roles of integration and technical architect are split I would say the integration architect
- Develop phase
My lead programmer , unless there is an area which is unsorted. In that case I would say the repsonsible guy for the unsorted area. In case I am running a multi-located proejct or a project with various sub-contractors it will be either my PMO to have the overview of who will be producing what when and who is dependent on it or the integration archotect for an integrated view from a techncal perspective
- Testing
Test manager seems to be the straight forward answer, however I do think the lead programmer or the technical architect are the answer during the system test to ensure the technical stability.
During UAT the Requirements Specifier, FUnctional Lead is my most important resource to distinguish what is a change and what not.
- Production
The barman you will provide the drinks to celebrate the succes
