While Six Sigma training can help businesses in the technological sector tremendously, it is vital that companies choose the best Six Sigma consultants to work with and introduce the Six Sigma concepts in the proper manner. After all, if companies do not implement Six Sigma in an efficient manner, businesses can run into costly difficulties down the road. How then does an organization properly implement the Six Sigma program?

Some useful insights into Lean Six Sigma implementation are offered by Karl D. Williams in the article Lean Six Sigma: What Makes it Tick? at: www.executivebrief.com/article/lean-six-sigma-what-makes-it-tick.

Your point, Myroslava, about being careful to implement Six Sigma project efficiently is right on the mark. In addition, I would suggest that companies would be smart to avoid using Six Sigma for Six Sigma sake.

By that I mean, one needs to adhere to the principles of Six Sigma to make sure the right things are getting done right. And if the organization is not serious about following the methodology, then they will be throwing away money on a failed project(s).

Lean Six Sigma sounds harder than it is. It really means continual improvment; and isn't that what we're all after?
