I am excited to start a new journey and continue serving the Project Management community of practice. I am back. Inspiring each other to be the best we can in everything we do is one of my charges to wake up and be ready to rock it! Let's start the conversation.

Keep them in tune with the information necessary for them to make educated and informed decisions. Transparency, availability, and accessibility. Also, create a safe-zone for the team to feel comfortable taking on responsibility, asking questions, offering solutions, etc.

Here are some non-traditional views to empower your team to success:

- Create a covering over your project to protect it from the corporate elements (i.e., politics) which can inundate a team and cripple your path to success.

- Have and show faith in your team and watch as barriers fall and your path to success accelerates.

- Remove all impairments to Knowledge, as knowledge is the accelerant that when applied to a flame, produces the energy one needs to succeed.

- Remove the fear of being wrong, or to state it another way; make being wrong the new right.

- Create an environment where the accepted is challenged, complacency is rejected and the unknown is embraced (i.e., create a challenge-based environment).

- Vanquish avoidance, through the alignment of objectives and the creation of accountability structures.
