I was recently reflecting on the social, educational and professional value of our community, and the question of "what would our world look like if it reflected the qualities of our community" came across my mind.
I then recognized the "richness of diversity" we have on this platform, and from that point, the thoughts kept streaming in; I then said to myself "Wow – this is a unique and powerful place".
Please provide your thoughts on this question. Saving Changes...
We do seem to have greater tolerance towards diversity of thought and background than the general population, but that's also reflective of the fact that we aren't really a statistically accurate representation of the general population.
As leaders, we should certainly try to influence those outside of this community to act likewise.

I agree that we are not a statistically accurate representation of the general population. The question is meant to make one reflect on the qualities we have in our community and its value if cast into the general population.
Your statement that "we do seem to have a greater tolerance towards diversity of thought and background than the general population", is one of the aspects I was recognizing as well. Saving Changes...

Agree that diversity is a key point in the community. I would add not only multicultural. language, but cross industries, cross professions and different backgrounds in the network. Saving Changes...
