Just starting to work with WBSs and trying to figure out the following:
1- Say requirements is a task in the WBS, would the work packages below that be for the deliverables of the requirements, such as a function? report? etc.
2- In order to decompose these work packages (which are requirements) into activities, wouldn't we have to know all the requirements up-front? Does this mean that I'd have to have all the requirements by the time I complete the WBS? This wouldn't make sense. Yet, how would I define and estimate all activities (say for coding) unless I had the requirements?
Can somebody shed some light for me on this WBS stuff.
