Has anyone ever had a problem with Primavera P6 reversing the early start and late start dates? Meaning the late start is earlier than the early start, same with the finishes. Any assistance is great

I am working with a contractor's schedule which show that the early and late start dates appear to be reversed causing a negative float. There are some activities are also near critical path activities as well. Any suggestions?
