It's a hypothetical so bear with me,...You're building a house with ten parallel tasks that each take on average six months to perform.

So what is the chance that the project will take six months?

Thanks,

The outcome of this project is based on the amount of available resources. You could hire 10 project managers responsible for one of the ten parallel tasks. As long as the tasks are not interdependent upon one another then it is possible to finish the project within the six month time frame. Also the term on average is used for completion of the parallel tasks and thus could be complete before the six months so it is again possible to complete the project within the six month time frame
