Interested in sharing experiences on OPM3 and/or P3M3?

I am conducting a research on Organizational Project Management. As part of it I am facilitating PMI OPM3 self-assessments in more than a dozen organizations in northern Spain (Basque Country and Navarra).
I would be interested in sharing knowledge and experiences with other people around the globe on this topic, including not only PMI's OPM3 but OGC's P3M3 as well.
Thanks.

OPM3 was designed to assess organizations in terms of Capabilities and Outcomes. These are organized within Best Practices, which are merely subtotals of scores for Capabilities and Outcomes. OPM3 Online was developed as an afterthought by people who did not understand that the OPM3 Standard was designed for assessing and improving organizations in terms of Capabilities and Outcomes but not Best Practices. OPM3 Online turns OPM3 Best Practice statements into questions, and users "assess" organizations using these questions without realizing that they have little if anything to do with the Capabilities and Outcomes, and therefore little to do with the actual OPM3 Standard. This often results in a false-positive maturity score, and does not generate the information necessary to know where the organization stands within a sequence of OPM3 improvement steps. I have yet to see any organization use OPM3 Online and achieve the Capabilities and Outcomes described at a higher level of the OPM3 Standard where break-through results occur. In order to implement OPM3, you need to use a different tool called OPM3 ProductSuite. This topic is discussed in more detail at http://www.linkedin.com/groupAnswers?viewQ...%2Eanh_1312167.

Hola Juan,
Ibon Ayo
