Did you check with local companies? I was lucky that my company offered virtual study groups. If yours doesn't have them, perhaps some other local enterprise would allow you to join? You can see if other nearby PMI chapters offer study groups. Saving Changes...
What I find really interesting is that this is a project management site, and there are no study groups organized here.. Does anyone else find this perplexing?

Why don't you organize one, Tricia? I know the community Book Club has been using this platform's webinars and discussions effectively. There are also other tools that could help support such an initiative. In fact, you could treat it as project to be managed.
Hi Tricia , try PM Prepcast , reading the PMBOk guide twice from cover to cover and the Rita Mulcahy Book....these three helped me pass the exam with flying colors. And yes , i also took a face to face instructor led course for 5 days for important tips
i used Rita Mulcahy Saving Changes...

Hi Tricia, Sorry about your PMP results. I would suggest you not to focus only on study groups.
1) Get a good online training programme
2) Focus on PMBOK
3) Refer RITA Mulcahy for doubt clarification
4) Revise PMBOK two weeks prior to PMP exam as most of questions are from PMBOK
5) Watch Praizion PMBOK process flow videos for better understanding of PM concepts Saving Changes...

You would probably need to organise your own study group for preparing for the PMP exam as in a PMP exam you are competing against you fellow PMP applicant as the pass/fail grade is based on a bell curve and as such a quota system. To many people they would see a study group as a way that aid others and not themselves. There are many ways to find people who are willing to participate in a study group. You could set up a Facebook group , LinkedIn group or another Social Media group titled PMP Study Group and see what response you get. Try picking a central location such as a library room in a city so to increase the likelihood of more people participating. Also set out a plan as to what you would like to get out of the study group such as specific areas of the PMP exam that you are having trouble with. Saving Changes...
