Changing of PMP Exam Outline

It is announced the changing of PMP exam outline from five groups to three groups related the human life, which are people, process & business environment. By your opinion, Are these changing more helpful for PMP certification holders? What are benefits??

To me the most telling line is this one: About half of the examination will represent predictive project management approaches and the other half will represent agile or hybrid approaches.

I feel that's an acknowledgement of the greater emphasis on alternate life cycles driven by the need to realize business value early and incrementally.

No - its that PMI feels that those earning the PMP credential should be capable of recommending the most appropriate life cycle based on the context of a given project rather than just going with a "one size fits all" approach.

Don't forget that there is a big emphasis on tailoring your processes, once you have selected your life cycle(s).
