How can I find a freelance project scheduler to work on one of our programs?

Any suggestions on how best to find a part-time master scheduler that can help a short handed project team revise an existing WBS and IMS?

Have you tried IT Recruiting companies in your area? They should be able to help you find the right resource for your project.

Have you tried your PMI chapter?

Thanks, Cynthia. I was hoping to find an online resource, specifically so I don't have to deal with recruiters.

My apologies Brian. If you don't have any luck finding a resource through your local PMI Chapter, there are a number of site for freelance work such as Sologig (https://www.sologig.com) and Guru (https://www.guru.com).

Hi, Brian,
There are programs out there where freelancers advertise their abilities, and respond to 'ads', or skills. You can ask for a sample of work, and look at reviews of their past work. That will be helpful if you haven't used that type of platform before. (As you have experience with the platform, it will be easier to determine if someone will meet your requirement, even though they may not have many "jobs" or reviews under that platform). One that I know of is called UPWORK, and has people from all over the world. Definitely do have PM's on there, I'm sure some with Scheduling experience that you are looking for.
Good luck!
