I use msproject for tracking multiple ongoing projects. I have a couple of projects on the sheet where all tasks are completed and show 100% completed BUT the summary line will only show 99%. Has anyone else had this happen and how is it fixed?
thanks

here's what I found -- delete whatever value you have in the resource column. The % complete will either flip to 100 or you can do it manually. Add the resource value back in and it should stay at 100. Just a goofy thing with the software.

Thanks for the reply. Where did you remove the resource data, we don't have resource value at summary level, I have 15-20 tasks under a summary task, so not sure where did you remove the resource value, also I cannot remove resource from the resource column, it will spoil work or duration based on what is fixed parameters. I had resources for the summary task in the resource column. (We are using the tool to track multiple projects so each summary task is a project.) By deleting the value for the resource at the summary task level, I was able to change the % complete to 100. And then I added the resource name back into the resource column. It stayed at 100.
Maybe try deleting and adding back resource names for some of the tasks? Saving Changes...
