Really depends on what specific features or capabilities you need. For example, MS Project is a popular scheduling tool, but is not great at supporting risk management.

Oracle's product is likely too expensive for such a small organization, Paul.

Hi Paul,
We haven't but I doubt the senior management team would pursue the idea if it's expensive.
Thanks for the suggestion.

I would recommend looking on the internet for project management software reviews (ones that are not ads). There are many.
But before you do that, establish a set of criteria that you can assign weights (based on importance) for what you want to get out of the software … such as cost, traditional vs. agile, visual-oriented, task management, and on and on.
In short, you (not someone else) need to first define what stellar PM software is. As the saying goes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Also, keep in mind that some PM software is designed specifically for certain types of projects, such as construction, IT and the like.
Good luck!

Are you aware that some tools are free for non-profits? Without knowing your needs, I can't really offer a tool. I can tell you that I implemented Podio in a non-profit and they loved it. I got their licenses without cost. Saving Changes...
