When did you receive your PMP certificate?

Learnt from other senior PMPs, most of the PMP around me receive their certificate 2-3 weeks after examination.
This process is automatic, they didn’t apply for it particularly.

I think your location will make a difference too, we are in Asia so probably longer mailing lead time.

I wonder if PMI will go green on their certificates at some point the way other certification bodies have done. That will save them money and kill a few less trees and those who want printed copies can always do so at their discretion.

This would be a valid option, if you don't have a need to prove the authenticity of your certificate.

The one I get has an embossed seal. I can present it to employers, recruiters or clients as proof.

I received 3 weeks later. However, I do agree with Kiron. e-certificate should be a must.

My own certificates usually come in the mail two to three weeks after my renewal. I don't think your location should make that much of a difference. (I often buy online items that are shipped from China quicker than within Canada!)

I got my certificate in 2 weeks as far as I can recall and all other PMI certificates arrived within the same time frame. However, it all depends where you're located.

My colleagues in Palestine for example, it takes up to a month before they get their certificates so location makes a slight difference of a week to 10 days.

I received my certificate about five weeks after exam aproval.

I received mine about 4 weeks after passing the exam.
