Can you compare similar projects from that age vs. a similar project to today? I am wondering what the differences are when comparing apples to apples. Has the advancement that has been seen over the past few years increased our ability to manage projects, or has there every been cases where it has hindered our ability?

One of the interesting thing of Y2K was that it was applicable to all business, commerces and organizations. Everyone had to test to see if they were susceptible.I don't think we've had another phenomenon that was so global. Are there special considerations for initiatives that affect litterally every one?

Of course, the public at large thinks that Y2K was overblown. Was it?

I really want to listen in on this. Will you post a reminder?

I remember Y2k fondly. We all knew it wasn't the world-ending event that the news made it out to be, but no amount of explanation or logic could mitigate the panic peddlers. I remember it being a very calm evening.
