i have been trying to clasiffy different kind of transformation projects , I have found these categories
1. Merger & Adquisition
2. Cultural transformation
3. Process outsourcing
4. Changing business models
5. Chaning Operative models
6. Digital Transformation
7. Agile Transformation
Have you identified any other cathegories?
As PM once you are facing these kind of projects I have found more benefits to use program approach since I need to have more focus in benefits, Usually are long term and I have found objetives alignment beetween different projects to achieve the transformation goal as well multiple different efforts (projects) with multiple PMs involved.
