Hello every one ,
i am in process of attaining the pmp certification and trying to answer the question from PM CHALLENGE in my profile . I need an advice whether the difficulty level for the exam will be same as the level of question in PM CHALLENGE or exam difficulty level will be more tough than this PM Challenge. I understood that the real exam will be more of the situational based questions . But in PM challenge i am getting direct questions rather than situational based.

Kindly Please advice me.

The exam questions state a situation and ask you "what do you do first" or "what do you do next" as a PM. So study the process well. Specially in planning, know the sequence well so you can ace the situational questions. Spend 10 minutes in the beginning of the test to draw the process chart with the 5 processes and the 10 knowledge areas in their sequence (49). Best of luck.

Dear Sir,
Thank you really for exactly replying to what i want to know . And additional you told about making a flow chart of the processes . I tried to make it for my own reference but i couldn't because of the two reasons
1) Some process are done parallely
2) Even if they are done sequentially i am not aware of it as i am new to this subject and even don't have experience in project management .

I request you to share this kind of reference(flow chart of sequence) if at all you have . i would be really thankful if at all you do this favour to me.

Thank you in advance

The PMChallenge questions and purchased mock exams are not representative of what you will get on the exam. The form and content of the questions are very different.

All the best in your preparations towards the exam.

I have to agree with Sergio. The questions are nothing like the exam. You will be better prepared if you do several simulations.

Hi Praveen
I did my PMP on 9th August 2019. As far as my experience goes, I would completely agree with most of the other members that the questions were situation based. Having said that, they were not as wordy as I thought they would be from my experience of using some of the simulation tools which I used prior to exam but still they were long enough.
I would recommend you to do try going through a complete 4 hour preparation exam prior to sitting the actual exam. It will test your concentration which is instrumental when you are taking a marathon exam like PMP.
Best of luck and keep us posted with your progress.
Many thanks

I just passed the exam two weeks ago and agree with what has been said here. Focus on the situational questions so take some simulation exams. All the direct items of knowledge I memorized and wrote down on my brain dump sheet, I maybe looked at it, used it twice.
Good Luck and keep us up to date.

Don't depend on PM challenge for the real exam. PM Challenge is just for fun and learning.
If you really want to get prepared for real exam then try mock test from certified training providers.
Give atleast 4 no of Mock test before appearing for the exam as 95% of PMP questions are situational.
