Project Portfolio Collaboration Tool

I work in the financial/banking industry and in search of a real-time Project Portfolio collaboration tool for various projects with various team members. The ideal tool would create an executive dashboard with the ability to drill down into the details of any given project. Additionally, the tool would need to be user friendly for project team members to have visibility over their particular tasks on all projects where they are assigned. Currently our 4 PMs use Microsoft Project on a limited basis but we use team meetings, email, calls, status reports etc. to communicate and collaborate with the rest of the organization. We track all projects in a very general way with limited details in EXCEL for organizational visibility. This is an archaic and antiquated way of working and we need to find the right tool/software to help move us into a more productive, streamlined environment for managing projects.

Any suggestions for this type of solution are welcomed.

I think this is more a problem of create a work framework that fits the purposes of your work together with the project managers than a lack of tools. There are many ways of solve this , I can give you a simple example but in the end of the day all depend of the way we like to work. You can use office365 , this simple application allows integration of Microsoft project 365, besides that includes Microsoft teams where you can create different communication channels for each project , or create folders for each project in SharePoint and store the reports or the necessary information that you need in a daily basis. There are so many ways and so many tools it's more a question of the framework that you would like to view implemented and choose the tools according to your vision.

Microsoft Project might be a fit, but I would give Laevo ignite a go, might be a fit.

Try "Clarizen" PPM Tool. Has support for Mobile platform and real time info sharing with non-members of the tool too. You would not require MS Project, Roadmap Tools & excel sheets for Graphs separately. Messaging platform is in-built too.
