I'm looking for a new title. My boss won't let me call myself "Lord high Duke and Protector of Gantt", so I was looking for a more traditional one. What kinds of titles are being used for people in charge of PMOs?

Thanks,
Gordon

'Gantthead' sounds like a good title ;-}

Seriously though, it depends on what the PMO is focused on doing.

If the PMO is managing a Program, then 'Program Manager' suffices,
If the PMO is the oversight and control bode for a number of projects, then VP Projects would suffice,
If the VP title is innapropriate, the Program/Project office Manager would do.

If its not too late, over at this part of the world (Singapore), we typically use
Projects Office, Manager.

It really depends on the norm the company/industry uses.
