Scope creep

When you know there’s a risk of scope creep, but both the project sponsor and customer both want to go ahead.
What would be your first step? Keep explain or start the preparation for potential risk.

Request a meeting with both the sponsor and the client, discuss the impact of the change and the resulting scope creep, and if they still want to go ahead, document the change and decisions.
